BRP demonstrated at the United Nations to mark anniversary of Dera Bugti massacre

Geneva: In a statement released to the media, BRP Switzerland chapter’s president Sher Baz Bugti, vice president Qadir Bugti, and General Secretary Mohammad Nawaz Bugti said that BRP held protest demonstration during annual session of UN outside its office, against worst human right abuses and to commemorate the 11th anniversary of victims of Dera Bugti massacre.
Baloch leader and President of Baloch Republican Party, Nawab Brahumdagh Bugti, including Party spokesman Sher Mohammad Bugti, Baloch leader Nawab Mehran Marri, World Sindhi Congress leader Laku Lohan, Ashraf Sherjan and Mubarak Baloch were present during the protest. Baloch activists from different European countries also participated in large number.
Protesters held banners and placards in their hands, chanting various slogans against ongoing Baloch genocide and Chinese interference in Balochistan. Sher Baz Bugti said that demonstration aimed to highlight the serious violations of human right and particularly to commemorate the Eleventh martyrdom anniversary of Dera Bugti military operation in March 17, 2005. In which more than 72 people including women and children were killed due to intense air and ground bombardment on the town of Dera Bugti. The main objective of the military attack was to assassinate Baloch Leader Shaheed Nawab Akbar Bugti who asks for the right of Baloch nation and against the punjabi occupation, but fortunately he was unhurt.
He further said Baloch Human Right violation, including  military operation, extrajudicial execution, enforced disappearances and  killing of the political activist are being intensified with passage of every day.  Baloch youths are being abducted and tortured under custody and later their dead bodies are dumped in the deserted areas of Balochistan.
Sher Baz Bugti appealed to human right organizations and United Nations to take immediate and effective measure to prevent genocide of Baloch nation and military operations by Pakistani forces.
