Baloch Republican Party called for shutter-down strike in Balochistan on March 17.

Geneva: Baloch Republican Party’s central spokesman Mr Sher Mohammad Bugti in a statement said that military operations, abductions and dumping of mutilated dead bodies have become daily practice in Balochistan.
He said that, previous day Pakistani forces conducted a military operation in Geshkor area of Awaran. The entire area was surrounded and houses were burnt, meanwhile around thirty students whisked away, adding that the location of the victims remained undisclosed.
He said that the failed state of Pakistan was now afraid of the Baloch children with pen.
He further said that 15 people were abducted by Pakistani armed forces during different raids in various areas of Dera Bugti, women were also tortured during the raid due to which one of whom is badly injured.
The spokesman has expressed concern over the silence of human rights organizations on continuous Pakistani aggression in Balochistan. He urged the united nation and other human rights organizations to play their role to stop the state atrocities in Baluchistan.
He further said that shutter down strike will be observed across Balochistan to commemorate the 10th martyrdom anniversary of ‘Martyrs of Dera Bugti’ on 17 March, 2015. He appealed the civil society and business community to shut their shops and businesses to pay tribute to the people who sacrificed their lives for freedom of Balochistan.
He then reminded that on 17 march, 2005, Pakistani forces had siege Dera Bugti and bombarded the entire district for the whole day, which claimed lives of more than 70 innocent Baloch people including women and children.
