Geneva: BRP discussed key Baloch issues including asylum to India in a high level meeting

Switzerland: A high level meeting of the Baloch Republican Party Central Committee was held under the leadership of Nawab Brahumdagh Bugti in Geneva.
Important topics including Pakistan atrocities in Balochistan, a formal asylum request to India, filling cases against Pakistani army Generals for atrocities in Balochistan were discussed in the meeting.
Nawab Bugti Sahib, while condemning the Uri attack on Indian army base in Jammu and Kashmir, said that Baloch stand in solidarity with India and the Indian nation in this hard and time of grievance.
“Pakistan aggression in Balochistan have escalated since the speech by Indian PM, Narendra Modi Sahib, about Balochistan and my welcoming reaction on the statement.
Dera Bugti, Naseerabad and Makuran were recently met with heavy military offensives backed by a large number of armed troops and gunship helicopters: As a result, more than 150 innocent Baloch civilians have lost their lives, and more than 200 people including women and children have been abducted by Pakistan army. Fifteen dead bodies were unearthed from a mass grave in Sui, Dera Bugti. The victims were dumped into the same mass grave after being brutally massacred,” he added. In Turbat, Pakistan forces besieged house of a Baloch political activist for seven days with his family and minors inside. Eventually, the forces abducted the 22 years old women with her one year and a month old minor.
Continuing his statement on Pakistani atrocities, Nawab Brahumdagh Bugti, said that “After the speech given by PM of India, Narendra Modi Sahib on the independence day of India, and our welcoming reaction, Pakistani state filed cases against us. The purpose of the Baloch Republican Party central committee meeting, was to form a new strategy in the context of growing international developments and awareness about Balochistan issue after the speech of Narendra Modi highlighting Balochistan issue on international levels”.
The meeting continued from last night and concluded earlier in the morning, where the party formed a new strategy on the following points after discussion among the party central committee members presented in the meeting and after consultation with central members in Balochistan.
Nawab Brahumdagh Bugti elaborated on the newly set points saying “The first point is to officially file and fight cases in the international criminal court and across the European countries against the generals involved in conducting heavy military operations in Balochistan since the year 2000 resulting in the martyrdom of Shaheed Nawab Akbar Bugti and thousands of Baloch people, war crimes and Baloch Genocide: The generals includes, the then army chief Pervez Musharraf, DG ISI General Ashfaq Pervez Kyani, DG MI, and all the army corps commanders deployed in Balochistan who have happened to assume power in that position”
The second point is to bring China to international court of justice because it is China that has been occupying and exploiting Balochistan resources against the Baloch will, and it is establishing the China Pakistan Economic Corridor in partnership with Pakistan, by shedding the blood of Baloch people: Whereas the facts remained to be that only China and Punjab would receive benefits from this project, while Baloch people gets mutilated dead bodies in return. Since china is equally involved in war crimes against Baloch people with Pakistan, It should answer International court of justice, so in this process after consulting the lawyers, i will approach to India, Bangladesh, and Afghanistan, regarding these cases.
The third point decided in the meeting, was that, as the representative of Balochistan and leader of the Baloch Republican Party, Nawab Brahumdagh Bugti will formally request for political asylum in India and will submit his application to the Indian embassy, as his previous asylum request to Switzerland has been pending for six years and that he had not acquired any travel documents, ever since.
He said that,  Because of all these issue, he could not travel around the world and spread awareness about Pakistani barbarism and Baloch genocide worldwide and make international community aware of the Baloch problem and national struggle. Besides, he added that,  he would also apply the refugees status for his people in Balochistan where they “are suffering mass atrocities at the hand of Pakistan forces who do not even spare women and children in their crimes against humanity. And after the massacre 17th March 2005 in Dera Bugti, Baloch people including women and children had to abandon their home to settle in Afghanistan where they are living in the shadow of fear. They were attacked multiple times by the Pakistani ISI, and their lives are vulnerable to even more attacks.
The clear involvement of Pakistan in terrorist activities in Afghanistan is harming it, as well. So, India, as a responsible neighbor and world’s biggest democracy, should consider its duty and welcome the war-affected Baloch people residing in Afghanistan.
The Baloch Republican Party newly formed strategy will be implemented to the party chapters across European countries.
