Quetta: Military operations in Dera Bugti started since the start of this year are intensified and expanded to different areas.

Baloch Republican Party spokesman Mr Sher Mohammad Bugti in a statement said that Pakistani forces continued military operation in different areas of Dera Bugti since January. Forces have speeded up their atrocities against innocent Baloch civilians.

“Earlier this morning, Pakistani forces have started a grand scale operation in Lerhpatti, Chabdar, Lop, Sehrani, Peshani, Sekhain and Doi Wadh areas of Dera Bugti district. Huge contingents of Pakistani forces are taking part in the offensives and indiscriminately targeting and bombing Baloch civilian populace” BRP spokesman said.

He said that a number of gunship helicopters were also taking part in the operation and indiscriminately bombarding villages as the result aged Peela Bugti was killed in Sekhain, Dera Bugti.

Dozens of houses of locals have been destroyed while number of villages were completely smashed due to air strikes carried by Pakistan air forces, he added.

He further said that two badly mutilated dead bodies have been recovered during military operation in Lop area of Dera Bugti. The faces of tortured dead bodies have been deliberately mutilated with acids by Pakistani forces.

Criticizing media role in Balochistan, Mr Bugti said that Army conducting operation across Balochistan on daily bases while local and international media remained silent over inhuman atrocities being committed in Balochistan.

Mr Bugti appealed to the international human rights groups to take note of war crimes being committed in Balochistan by Pakistani security forces.

Moreover, Pakistani forces conducted house to house search operation in Arz Mohammad village in Patfeedar area of Sui and abducted at least four innocent Baloch civilians. The abductees have been identified as Talho s/o Jong Ali Bugti, Nazar Mohd s/o Mashkol Bugti, Shekari s/o Gul Mohd Bugti and Bada s/o Nazar Ali Bugti.
