The protest was participated by a large number of people including women and children who were holding placards subscribed with signs against the extra-judicial killings of Baloch activists in Turbat and abduction of Bugti IDPs in Kandkot by Pakistani armed forces.The protesters were concerned about the criminal silence of the human rights organization over the tense situation of Balochistan.The Baloch Republican Party leaders, while addressing the protest, have said that “On 1st April, Pakistani armed forces raided the camp of Bugti IDPs in Kandkot and abducted at least twenty people including women and children who have later been handed over to the Sindh police and have been facing inhuman torture under the custody”.
The leaders said that “Pakistani forces and it’s intelligence agencies launched a massive operation in Turbat against the armed Baloch groups while continuing the genocide of the Baloch civilians through different tactics”.
“We have the list of the victims in our Party’s website which includes the names of BRP leaders Master Asghar Dad and Din Mohammad Bugti who were already abducted and detained by Pakistani forces and showed up dead during the Turbat Operation, the leaders said adding that the operation was percisely aimed at fooling the human rights organization and continuing it’s war crimes in Balochistan.
They said that the Baloch Republican Party will reach every possible forum to protest the Baloch genocide and expose Pakistan’s barbarity in Balochistan.
