Nawab Brahumdagh Bugti congratulated the Marri tribesmen for electing Mehran Marri as new chief of Marri tribe.

Swiss: Prominent Baloch leader and the chief of Baloch Republican Party Nawab Brahumdagh Bugti congratulated the Marri tribesmen for electing Mehran Marri as new chief of Marri tribe.
Nawab Brahumdagh Bugti in a statement congratulated the Marri people for electing Nawabzada Mehran Marri as the new chief of their tribe. He said Baloch people particularly the Marri tribe was facing a tense situation after the unfortunate demise of Nawab Khair Bux Marri but the tribal leaders and elders have demonstrated great political maturity by electing Mehran Marri as the new chief of the tribe.
“The Pakistani state tried to hijack the Baloch tribal system and to counter Baloch freedom movement by appointing their favorite person as the new chief of the Marri but Marri people foiled the attempts of the state by taking timely decision of electing Mehran Marri as the new chief” said Nawab Brahamdagh Bugti, adding that Marri people have chosen a leader who would continue the legacy of late Nawab Khair Baksh Marri by following his ideology
.
Appreciating the timely decision of Marri tribal elders and notables, Nawab Bugti said that the Baloch people need to be united to achieve the noble goal of freedom. “Electing Mehran Marri as the chief is a great achievement in the Baloch people’s struggle for freedom.” he said.
Nawab Brahumdagh Bugti further said that efforts were being made to accomplish the dream of Shaheed-e-Azam Nawab Akbar Bugti and late Nawab Khair Baksh Marri to unite the Baloch leadership on a single platform.
Nawab Brahumdagh Bugti announced full support for Nawab Mehran Marri and believed that he would perform his national and tribal duties put on his shoulders by the tribal elders and notables & play his role for Baloch national unity as an important stakeholder.
