Geneva: Baloch Republican Party spokesman Mr. Sher Mohammad Bugti, in a statement issued to media, has said that Pakistan army has intensified its atrocities across Balochistan.
Mr Bugti said that Pakistani forces carried out operations targeting civilian populace in kech and Dera Bugti on friday.
“More than 100s of armored vehicles and trucks carrying hundreds of troops have siege surrounding areas of Sui including Sharidarbar, Mohanpat and Asreli”
He further said that forces harassed and terrified the local, entrance and exit to the areas remained closed for the whole day, he added.
“During operation, forces opened fire on the houses of locals and heavily bombarded the civilian populations, which resulted in killing of two innocent civilians: Bijjar Bugti and Dhani Bux Bugti while six persons including two women and two children were wounded due to indiscriminate shelling of forces. The wounded women and children were later abducted and taken away to undisclosed location by the security forces” spokesman said.
Furthermore, another operation was conducted in Kohad area of Kech district. Forces broke into the houses, Harassed and tortured women & children, and they abducted Molavi Fazal Karim, Amjad s/o Ababagr, Kengi s/o Khuda Baksh, Zaman, Mohammad Dank, Najeeb, Qayum, and Malik Mohd, he said.
Mr Sher Mohammad Bugti said that he was concerned about the lives of abductees because those who were abducted by state were either detained for years and never returned or in most cases, recovered dead, which he said “are tortured to death under custody”.
Baloch Republican Party urges the human rights groups to raise voice against state atrocities and human rights violations in Balochistan.
Meanwhile, the Baloch Republican Party announces an online campaign against the abduction of Baloch women, saying “While Baloch freedom activist protests the abduction of Baloch 40 women from Bolan on Twitter, forces took away two ‘wounded’ women along with children in a recent operation in Asreli and other areas of Sui Dera Bugti.
Let it be reminded that Asreli is the area where Pakistan forces abducted three Bugti Baloch women along with their four teenage daughters and a son in November 15, 2014, whereabouts of whom remained mysterious ever since. In Bolan recently, forces abducted 40 Baloch women; their whereabouts remained undisclosed.
