Decomposed dead body of political activist Dur Mohammad Bugti found from Kotri, Sindh – BRP Media Cell

Jamshoro Pakistan: Bullet riddled and decomposed dead body of Dur Mohammad s/o Jeyand Bugti has been found dumped in Kotri area of Jamshoro district of Sindh here on Thursday.
Baloch Republican Party Media Cell sources said that a bullet riddled dead body was found near Kotri area of Jamshoro district. Local authorities reached at the site and shifted the body to Kotri civil hospital, where it has been identified as Dur Mohammad s/o Jeyand Bugti. He was abducted along with his four other family members by Pakistani secret agencies from their homes in Nawabshah on 17th of April, 2014, while whereabouts of rest of three abducted persons, Ramzan s/o Jeyand Bugti, Rozi s/o Ramza Bugti and Wazir khan s/o Pathan Bugti still remain unknown.
All three abductees and deceased Dur Muhammad belong to the family of Baloch Republican Party’s activists Mr Sher Baz Bugti and Raiz Gul Bugti, both are in exile in Switzerland. Sher Baz Bugti while speaking to BRP Media Cell said Sher Baz Bugti said that they were committed with cause.
He said state’s such tactic of killing of family members  would not determine them from the struggle of freedom for their motherland. They would continue struggle for free and sovereign Balochistan, he said.

No talks with Pakistan until withdrawal of forces. Brahumdag Bugti

Switzerland: The president of Baloch Republican Party Nawab Brahumdagh Bugti, while talking to a Pakistani news channel, denied claims of government regarding negotiations between Baloch freedom movement leaders and Pakistani state. He said “like the previous governments, the current government makes false claims of negotiations, these are tactics of fooling people.”
He said that civilian government was helpless regarding Balochistan issue and Pakistan army & its intelligence agencies were in control Balochistan matters. While answering a question he said Baloch political activists and people from every walk of life were being extra judicially killed after forceful disappearances since more than past seven years. In a situation, he said, where even independent media was not allowed to visit, we would not come to the negotiation table until Pakistani state pulls out its forces from Baloch soil.
He rejected the Pakistani narrative about few Sardars (Tribal leaders) being responsible of the Balochistan struggle, while adding he said, tribal system exists in few areas such as Dera Bugti and Kohlu but there was no tribal system in Makran region where independent movement was gaining momentum like other parts of Balochistan.
While answering another question regarding his family division, he said everybody had a democratic right to take their decisions but, he said, he chose the freedom struggle following the ideology of his grandfather for which he stood and sacrificed his life for. He said that thousands of Baloch brothers and sisters, who comes different walks of life and tribal backgrounds, stood with him in this struggle. “It doesn’t make any difference whether any of my family members stand with me or not. The struggle for Balochistan’s independence will continue.”
He further said that they were democratic people and they believed in the democratic ways of struggle, adding, Pakistan shows itself as a democratic state but it was afraid of referendum in Balochistan under the UN supervision which is a peaceful and democratic way to let people choose their fate.
Commenting on 70s military operation he said Shaheed Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti wasn’t part of the process of military operation and he was unaware of all that as Bhutto was directly operating the matters under his supervision. “Shaheed Nawab Akbar Bugti remained governor for four months while trying to stop military operation in Balochistan but he resigned immediately after he realized his efforts were going in vain.”
Nawab Brahumdagh Bugti rejected the allegations of the state about tribal leaders being against  education in Balochistan. He said that Shaheed Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti established many schools and a college in Dera Bugti which were now converted into military camps by the Pakistan Army. However, after the assassination of Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti, not a single school was built in Dera Bugti. It is now an open secret as to who is the hurdle for education in Balochistan, he said.
He further said that people have taken up arms in their defense against the powerful state and its atrocities such as military operations, enforced disappearances and extrajudicial murders. “
Army operations in Balochistan have become a daily routine where innocent women and children are being killed and people are joining violent ways of the struggle as a reaction”. He said Pakistan is carrying out a systematic genocide of Baloch Nation.
He said that nobody needs to dictate us about our matters, we must have the right to decide as to what is in our interest and what is not. “What would you feel if someone attacks and occupies your home & start dictating you as to what is good and bad for you?”
He said that not a single election was held in Balochistan under a democratic process since 1949. “Balochistan is being ruled by the Pakistan army and its secret agencies since the day one”. Commenting on China’s presence in Gwadar he said that China was an equal partner of Pakistan for war crimes in Balochistan. He said China would have to face the consequences if it continued exploring and looting Baloch resources without the will of Baloch people.

The Nuclear: Once again 28th May remind us “The destruction of our People”.

By Baloch, a writer.

Once again 28th May reminds us the destruction of our people by an explosion of the atomic Bomb which was carried out  on May 28, 1998 in Chagai, Baochistan by Pakistani government for taking a simple test of it. Let me start from introducing the “Nuclear Bomb”.

The detonation of a single nuclear bomb or “warhead” would cause a local disaster on a scale that few people in the world have seen and survived. However, it should not be confused with the effects of a nuclear war, in which many nuclear bombs would be exploded. That would cause the end of civilization in the countries concerned, and perhaps over the whole world, as well as radioactive contamination of whole continents, and terrible damage to the environment and ecology.
The effect of a single bomb would depend on its power, and where it exploded — high in the air or at ground level — and whether in a densely populated and built-up area like a city or in open country like an attack on a missile silo.
A nuclear weapon is not just a big bomb.

ISI and Balochistan. Written by Ryszard Czarnecki, on May 9, 2014.

Europe: ISI and Balochistan. Written by Ryszard Czarnecki, MEP for EP TODAY on May 9, 2014. EP TODAY, A monthly Newspaper for European Parliament.
Baluchistan, land blessed by nature but ravaged by inhumane practices. With its natural resources worth hundreds of billions of dollars it ranks amongst the world’s potentially richest regions, but its inhabitants live in abject poverty and are targeted victims of Pakistan forces. The country has waged veiled war over its own people in the province of Baluchistan. The ‘kill and dump’ policy has claimed hundreds of thousands lives in the province. The implicit war that the forces have stared in the province over years has kept the province distracted from achieving basic goals.
Inter-State-Intelligence (ISI) has been targeting Baluch people. People of Baluchistan have been facing problems ever since forceful alignment with Pakistan. The government has been obsessed with keeping tight control over Baluchistan as abundant natural resources are available. The government has taken least interest in the development of the province. The intelligent population in the province which deciphered the government’s plan for control over resources without letting the local man profit led to agitations against the government in the past. Protestors are targeted and executed or dumped in prisons under no legal penalties.
The government of Pakistan has turned a deaf ear towards the atrocities committed by the authoritarians. The military and the ISI gained immense power under the rule of President Musharraf. In a 2012 briefing, Amnesty International noted, “According to our own research at least 249 Baluch activists, teachers, journalists and lawyers have disappeared or been murdered between 24 October 2010 and 10 September 2011 alone, many in so-called ‘kill and dump’ operations.” The advocacy group, Voice for Missing Baluch, has estimated that 8,000 people have been kidnapped over the past nine years, with 1,500 individual bodies having been recovered. The ‘Kill and Dump’ policy began under the rule of Musharraf, but has continued under the current government. The policy focuses on the detainment of Baluch activists, holding them incommunicado for days or even weeks during which they are subjected to torture, interrogation and execution.
The province has been suffering impede for decades now in achieving common goals like others in the country. There are no facilities for education of children beyond secondary schooling as the government does not focus in making the region self reliant. The killing of intellectual cleansing carried on by the ISI in the province is to keep the people under the tyranny of the organization. The media in the province is under the control of ISI which keeps the reality of killings limited within its boundaries. International news agencies are not allowed, international humanitarian workers cannot enter Baluchistan, international human rights groups cannot enter Baluchistan and even the diplomatic staff from other countries is not allowed to visit Baluchistan. The ISI controlled media does not mention the human rights violation by the forces in Baluchistan.
The Clashes by the ISI and the Pakistan army (a pro baluch group) has claimed many lives in the province. The ISI has not limited its atrocities to kill and dump of innocents from the province but has also started ‘Cyber war’ to spread deceiving information about the conflicts in the region. The Baluch National Liberation Movement was initiated to show the world the true situation in Baluchistan that the local press was devoid of. ISI has led cyber war against the Baloch freedom struggle has tormented the struggle.
Baluchistan not only faces state violence and discrimination, but it also faces deep-seated economic inequality. Baluchistan is Pakistan’s largest province, and given its natural resources and strategic position, arguably most important. Baluchistan wants to be an independent nation but Pakistan government knows the importance of the resources the province has and thus wants to keep it under sovereign power. ISI, Military Intelligence and Frontier Corps have been given the task of keeping the upsurge in the province within control.

The veiled warfare that the ISI is busy carrying on the innocent people of Baluchistan needs to end. Killing men in custody, authorities dump the bodies of their victims, sending a brutal message to the Baluch community. The extrajudicial detainment and execution allows for authorities to escape all forms of oversight, legal standards, or accountability. The role of ISI and Pakistan government is accountable to international authorities in the case of Human Right violations that are carried on in the province.
